Liberation
The theme of liberation is central in the letters of Paul, the earliest Christian writings. But what does he mean? He believes a transformation has happened for him and others in which a new way of life has become possible. Yet it is clear, particularly vividly in his letter to the Galatians, that struggles and friction continue within the communities he writes to. This can make him appear unrealistic and incoherent in what he says but what is offered in this video is a subtle but relatively simple way of understanding how friction continues to co-exist with genuine transformation.
